“We learned about CorCell through my mom. She read an article in a newspaper in Puerto Rico when I was pregnant with my first son. She was dying of ovarian cancer and decided that saving her grandchild’s umbilical cord would be her gift to him. Since there is familial history of blood-related and other cancers in both mine and my husband’s families, we decided to save all of our children’s umbilical cord bloods.
