UCSF, GE Healthcare Team Up on Pioneering Cord Blood Project
GE Healthcare announced today that they are teaming up with University of California San Francisco to focus on a three-year project that will make better use of umbilical cord blood. Both powerful Institutions’ will be focusing on chemical compounds that can be added to the stem cells and progenitor cells found in cord blood to increase their population.
GE Healthcare is funding the project as part of its mission to develop technologies that support the emerging era of regenerative medicine. They understand how this will help control the ever-expanding expense of rising health care cost along with a better quality of treatment for patients.
Adult stem cells in umbilical cord blood are the future of medicine. Make it a priority to privately store your baby’s cord blood to insure a healthier future.
Together we can help save lives,
