Sibling Donor cord Blood Program

Mission

CorCell’s Sibling Donor Cord Blood Program is intended to help families having a child suffering from a disease which might be treated with a stem cell transplant. The stem cells found in the cord blood collected after the birth are processed and cryopreserved for the purpose of making a potential graft available for the treatment of an afflicted sibling. The collection and cryopreservation of cord blood is available to every family through CorCell’s private cord blood bank. But, in circumstances where cord blood transplants may be used to treat a life threatening disease of a sibling, no family should miss this unique treatment opportunity for financial reasons.
