CorCell uses isothermal vapor phase storage freezers. Isothermal vapor storage systems allow specimens to be stored at liquid nitrogen temperatures without nitrogen contact. This reduces cross-contamination. Also, vapor provides more efficiency in the use of LN2. Vapor phase ensures stability at -196°C  – temperature is the same at the bottom as well as the top of the tank.

Automated controlled rate freezers ensure the sample goes from processing temperature to storage temperature without compromising the quality and number of stem cells in the sample.

CorCell has taken every measure possible to ensure the viability of cord blood samples.
